Buckner Kenya just like the mother company ‘BUCKNER
INTERNATIONAL’ shines hope into the country’s
marginalized locations, bringing redemptive transformation to the
lives of the most vulnerable.
Our ministries can often be summarized as : We protect children
and strengthen families.
We seek to maximize resources and leadership to serve children, families and communities in Kenya. We were registered in Kenya as an NGO to transform the
lives of vulnerable children and build strong families. Since 2001 Buckner Kenya has maximized on resources and leadership to witness exponential growth and expansion in service delivery to the vulnerable.

Why We Exist
It is estimated that 300 million children worldwide are subjected to violence, exploitation and abuse. Nearly 153 million of those children are orphans who have lost one or both parents. 2.6 Million of these orphans live in Kenya. These are Children subject to disease, child labor and child trafficking. They are at risk because they have little or no access to education and are exposed to danger and even death.

We are changing that. At our core, Buckner Kenya makes life better for vulnerable children. We believe in changing the lives of our vulnerable communities using innovative and progressive means.
